About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 3 NVQ qualified Car/Van Technician to join our busy workshop in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and rectification of mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct vehicle inspections and health checks in line with DVSA standards
• Complete MOT preparation work (MOT licence desirable but not essential)
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed time frames
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
• Follow all health and safety procedures within the workshop

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Proven experience working as a vehicle technician or mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential)
