Our client based in the heart of the Hitchin industrial estate is currently recruiting for Night Production Operatives to join its growing team. Working with experienced members of staff, Successful candidates will be provided with full training on the production operative role from start to finish with regular opportunities to develop and gain a permanent contract after successful trial period.

Machine Operative - Location

• Hitchin

Machine Operative - Job Duties

• Correctly measuring quantities of raw materials to include in batch production
• Setting up & running machines to produce customer orders
• Notifying engineeers of any faults to minimise production downtime
• Maintaining a clean work station in line with company guidelines
• Working to company Health & safety standards at all times

Machine Operative - Working Hours

Choice of

• Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:15 / 14:00 - 22:15 (Weekly rotating shift)
• Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:15 (Fixed shift)

Machine Operative - Pay Rates

• Day Shift - £12.90ph increasing to £14.19ph after 12 weeks service
• Night Shift - £13.50ph increasing to £15.93ph per hour after 12 weeks service
