The Best Connection are seeking to recruit experienced Cat B/3.5T Van Drivers to work with their client in Newton Aycliffe.  Our client is logistics and transportation company based in the UK, specializing in providing a range of supply chain solutions. They have a requirement for day drivers to complete multidrop deliveries and support them on an ad hoc basis with ongoing work available.

The role:

• Driving 3.5t Van.
• You will also be required to load and unload goods/products into your vehicle.
• Delivering and collecting parcels various destinations.
• Roughly 50 drops will be required per shift. 

The candidate:

• Valid and in date Cat B 
• Minimum age 25
• Maxiumum points 6
• No DI or DR endorsements. 
• 12 months commercial driving experience.

Hours of work:

• Start time is 07:00am
• Monday to Friday

Pay Rates

• £12.00 per hour flat rate (due to increase from 1st April)
