The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Mini Bus driver for our client who have a contract based in Canterbury. The hours for this role would be 45 during term time and 40 outside of term time.
This is an interesting and varied role driving a specially adapted vehicle transporting disabled and other vulnerable adults and children to pre-arranged destinations. May include maneuvering, loading and clamping of wheelchairs.
The skills required for this role include the ability to work to agreed schedules, to be confident and adaptable when dealing with disabled people and to be able to deal with unexpected situations as they arise. Excellent communication skills and a calm and patient manner are essential.. As a Driver, you will be fully trained and physically able to use any ancillary equipment fitted to vehicles, such as tail lifts, ramps and wheelchair restraints ensuring the comfort of our services is your main priority
Pay Rate:
Monday to Friday- £12 - £13 Per Hour
Enhanced DBS checks are required (we can complete this for you in branch)
