The Best Connection Mansfield is recruiting experienced MIG Welders to join a leading steel fabrication company in Alfreton.

What You'll Be Doing

As a MIG Welder, your duties will include:

• MIG welding thin steel tubing using jigs (no drawings required)
• Assembling products to a consistently high standard
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure defect-free production
• Maintaining welding equipment and adhering to all health and safety procedures
• Promoting a clean, organised, and efficient working environment
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
• Assisting with picking and packing spare parts orders when required

What We're Looking For

• Previous MIG welding experience is essential
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious approach
• Experience working within Lean manufacturing environments is advantageous

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4:30pm

Fridays 07:30am - 1:30pm

Enjoy your evenings and weekends free with this regular day-shift position.

Pay

£13.50 per hour.

Interview Process
