We are currently recruiting for our client, a long standing metal company based in Nechells, Birmingham. The role we are recruiting for is a Metal Polisher. This will be an ongoing position with an immediate start following a successful trial day. Working in a factory with experienced colleagues, the role will involve polishing various metals such as stainless steel on Day shifts with Fridays off!
***METAL POLISHING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED***
Duties :
- Polishing different types of metal
- Operation of high powered lathes
- Linishing, Brushing, Grinding
- Polishing of stainless-steel metal components to clean finishes
Working Hours :
- 8:00-16:00 Monday - Thursday
Rate of pay:
- £12.21 per hour, but could rise depending on experience.
Key Skills and Experience Required :
- Previous experience in metal polishing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Visual inspection skills
- Must be a team player
- Able to act on own initiative
