The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to work at a renowned company in West Bromwich.

Hours of work: Mon-Thu 06:45-17:00 & Friday 07:00-16:30

Salary: £29,952-£35,940 (Normal grade)

             £33,264-£39,912 (Senior grade)

The hours are negotiable from 40-48 hours.

Duties:

• Mechanical work on a variety of parts.
• Mechanical plant installation and modification work.
• Carrying out inspections.
• Using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
• The ability to use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works.
• Work in line with the company’s health and safety.

Qualifications required:

• Educated to RQF level 3 (e.g. City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Mechanical Fitting/Engineering discipline as a minimum.
• Having a recognised Mechanical apprenticeship is desired but not essential.
• Experience with MEWP’s, Abrasive wheels and Confined Spaces would be advantageous.
