Our client, an industry leader with over 35 years of experience in mechanical handling and robot system integrator in the automotive, aerospace, nuclear and pharmaceutical sectors, is looking for a General Operative to join their team. This is a great opportunity to secure a permanent contract after a successful trial period.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Using various hand and power tools
• Guillotine and Brake Press
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Overhead 5 Tonne Crane
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• General workshop duties
• Basic machine operations
• Use of Band Saw for steel cutting
• Stock control
• The ability to prioritise tasks and adopt a flexible approach to working methods
• The ability to work within a team environment

**FLT Counterbalance licence desirable**

**2 years experience essential**

Pay rate:

• £13.00 - £15.00 per hour DOE

Shift pattern:

• 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday
