Our long-standing client, a leading power management company who specialise in energy-efficient products and services helping their customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more reliably, efficiently, safely and sustainably require a Manual Welder to join their team, located in Redditch

Pay Rate:

• Starting rate of £17.46 per hour. Increasing to £19.40, once all initial training has been completed.

Working Hours:

• 7:00am-3:45 Monday to Thursday, 7:00am-12:00pm Friday

Duties:

• Manual and orbital tig welding of rigid and flexible tube assemblies, brackets, and components for the Aerospace industry. Materials include but are not limited to stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, aluminium

• Following data cards, process specifications, engineering drawings and standard work instructions.

• Ability to use, maintain, and programme orbital and TIG welding equipment and the use of measurement equipment such as shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometre for inspection and fabrication purposes

Requirements:

• TIG Previous experience in the same or similar role.

• Welding qualification TIG

• Knowledge of AS9100 / NADCAP

• Ability to use, maintain, and programme orbital and TIG welding equipment and the use of measurement equipment such as shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometre for inspection and fabrication purposes

• Previous experience within aerospace, nuclear, Formula 1, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries is desirable
