We are seeking a skilled lathe operator to work on behalf of our client. This role is on a Temp to Perm basis.

The candidate should possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience operating CNC lathes. Experience on an XYZ machine would be ideal, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD designs to understand project requirements.
• Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a skilled CNC Machinist within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken.
• Flexibility and a can do attitude are essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,820.65-£36,000.00 per year. This will be processed weekly, not monthly.
