Machine Operator

📍 Willitoft (own transport required due to location)

🕒 Monday to Friday, day shifts between 7:00am - 5:00pm

💷 Hourly rate negotiable (up to £16 per hour after probation)

About the Role

We're recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role involves operating fully automated packing machinery, supporting production processes, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating fully automated packing machinery
• Monitoring production to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
• Completing production paperwork accurately
• Handling materials, including lifting and carrying heavy bags
• Supporting general production and operational activities

Working Environment

• Industrial setting that can be dusty and noisy
• Physical role requiring a good level of fitness
• Work may involve lifting and moving items, including on stairs

Requirements

• Previous experience operating automated packing machinery
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Basic computer literacy
• Good standard of written and spoken English
• Counterbalance FLT experience (expired licences accepted)
• Own transport essential due to site location
