The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing company for a Machine Operator to join their friendly production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining excellent health and safety standards.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured to specification, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Operating manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently

✅ Monitoring production processes and product quality

✅ Loading materials and components into machines

✅ Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting faults

✅ Following work instructions and production schedules

✅ Maintaining high housekeeping standards throughout the production area

✅ Adhering to all company Health & Safety procedures

✅ Assisting with stock movement and material handling using FLT equipment when required

What We're Looking For

✔ Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience

✔ Strong awareness and understanding of Health & Safety procedures

✔ Some FLT (Fork Lift Truck) experience and confidence operating FLT equipment

✔ Good attention to detail and quality standards

✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

✔ Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
