The Best Connection are currently hiring for a Steel Cutting Operative to join one of their clients based in the Poynton area. Temporary to permanent role (depending on performance)

• Working Hours: 37.5 per week (Night Shifts: 10.00pm – 6.00am Sunday to Thursday)
• Training on rotating day shifts (06.00 - 14.00 & 14.00 - 22.00) £11.84 typically 2 - 6 months depending on applicant’s experience.
• Benefits: 25 days holiday, Pension Scheme, Health Cash Plan & Life Assurance (on successful completion of Probationary period)
• Salary once on Nights : £13.53 per hour (Starting salary) rising at 6 months & 24 months.

Day to day duties include:

• Machine operating (CNC)
• Machine setting
• Loading and unloading machines
• Quality checks 

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• The ability to work as a team 
• Keen eye for Health & Safety
• Good Numeracy and literacy skills
• CNC experience or have a strong manufacturing/production background
• Experience within the steel industry is desirable but not essential as full training is provided

Please note this position will move onto the night shift once a successful training period is completed
