Assemblers / Machine Factory Operatives – Gillingham
Location: Gillingham
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for Assemblers / Machine Factory Operatives to join our client’s well-established manufacturing team based in Gillingham. This is an excellent opportunity for ongoing, full-time work with full training provided.
Shift:
- Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 15:30 and Friday 07:30 till 15:00
- Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates:
- Time and a half after 37 hours
- Saturdays paid at time and a half
- Sundays paid at double time
Key Responsibilities:
Assembling small components for diesel pumps
Quality checking and packing parts
Operating and loading machines (training provided)
Working with oils and diesel in certain departments (PPE provided)
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in assembly, machine operation, or factory work is preferred but not essential
Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and keen to learn new skills
