Machine Operator - Kingsbury (Tamworth Area)

Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Machine Operator for a well-established, family-run engineering company based in Kingsbury, Tamworth. This role offers long-term stability, excellent working hours, and the opportunity to work with a supportive team.

You will be responsible for operating machinery to bend, form and shape various metals including stainless steel and aluminium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines such as press brakes, rollers, and tube benders

• Work with metal materials to produce precise components

• Read and interpret technical drawings

• Use measuring tools to ensure high accuracy

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator (essential)

• Ability to read technical/engineering drawings

• Comfortable working with metal, stainless steel, and aluminium

• Good attention to detail

Pay & Working Hours:

• Starting from £13.50 per hour (higher rates for experienced candidates)

• Mon-Thu: 07:00-16:00

• Fri: 07:00-12:00
