Location: Scunthorpe

Job Type: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)

Hourly Rate: £14.91 per hour

Experience: Mandatory - must have proven drilling experience

Working Hours

• Training period (first 12 weeks):
• Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
• After training:
• Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 4:00pm

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Drilling Operative to join a busy steel warehouse team in Scunthorpe. You will operate drilling machinery to process steel components safely and accurately, maintaining high quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate pillar drills and industrial drilling equipment
• Drill holes and features into steel sections and plates
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Maintain safe working practices at all times
• Carry out routine checks and report any issues
• Support general warehouse duties when required

Mandatory Experience

To apply, you must have:

• Proven experience operating drilling machinery in a steel or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
