The Best Connection are seeking Class 1 / 2 drivers for our friendly, well known client in Normanton.

We have 2 roles available;

Class 1 trunking between RDC's - some unloading using an electric pallet truck will be required.

Store deliveries in Class 1 or 2 - deliveries of cages of milk to smaller convenience stores.

Drivers must have a Class 1 / 2 licence with an in date CPC and Digi card with no more than 9 licence points, with no major endorsements. Minimal experience is acceptable for this contract provided candidates can pass a driving prior to shift. This will include maneuvering and reversing so must be competent at this. 

Shifts available are;

Trunking; 0300 - 0500 start times and can be 4 days of 12 hour shifts or 5 days of 10 hours shifts (to include at least 1 weekend day)

Store deliveries; 0200 - 0430 start times and is Monday to Friday, Sunday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday

Pay rates (+ holiday pay accrual)

£15.88 basic Monday to Friday, £25.82 after 10 hours on days, £28.80 after 10 hours on nights

£18.81 Saturday 

£22.58 Sunday 

£31.76 Bank Holidays
