HGV 7.5T Drivers – White Goods Delivery

The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced 7.5T HGV Drivers on behalf of our prestigious client based in West Thurrock. This is a fantastic Temp to Perm opportunity for skilled drivers looking to secure long-term work with a well-established company.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for delivering white goods to customers’ homes across London and the South East. Due to the nature of the products, heavy lifting will be required. You will be accompanied by a driver’s mate, who will assist with both deliveries and installations.

⏰ Working Hours

• Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Start times: From 5:45 AM

• Occasional Saturdays may be required

• Shifts typically last up to 10 hours

Pay Rates

• Standard: £15.68 per hour (PAYE)

• Overtime: £22.95 per hour (after 8 hours worked daily)

Key Duties

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle (Cat C1 licence required)

• Delivering white goods to residential customers

• Completing up to 15 deliveries per day

• Providing excellent customer service during face-to-face interactions

• Working as part of a two-person team with a driver’s mate

• Assisting with installation where required

✅ Requirements

• Valid Cat C1 Licence

• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous commercial driving experience is essential

• Good knowledge of London & Kent (desirable)

• A professional, customer-focused attitude

• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
