The Best Connection Walsall are recruiting on behalf of our client in Lichfield for a Class 2 Driver to deliver goods to customers' homes.

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering between 10 to 20 drops per day to various residential addresses. You’ll need to be comfortable with handballing (manual unloading), and the role requires a 06:00 start each day. The work will mainly involve holiday and sickness cover, so the schedule will vary, but consistent shifts are available.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver goods to customers’ homes (10-20 drops per day)
Manual unloading (handballing) involved
Complete a week’s worth of paid training
Ensure deliveries are made on time and in good condition
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
Complete delivery paperwork as required

What we’re looking for:

Class 2 (C) driving licence
CPC qualification (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
Valid Tachograph card
6 Months class 2 experience is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
