The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers to work with their client in Darlington. Our client is global logistics and transportation company and will be delivering kitchens to construction sites and private customers. They have a requirement for a day drivers to support them on an ad hoc basis with ongoing work available.

An induction and driving assessment will be required 

The role:

• Making deliveries to residential properties and building sites to a specified room 
• You will be delivering kitchens with a driver’s mate 

The candidate:

• Full LGV C
• Digi card and up to date CPC
• No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD, DR or IN Endorsements
• Minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience

Hours of work:

• Start time is 04:00 or 05:00am
• Monday to Friday

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• £14.09
• Overtime paid at 1.5 after 50 hours
