The Best Connection are looking for a class 2 driver to work for one of our Clients in Thatcham and Newbury area. This is on an ADHOC basis however due to the client getting busier it will be at least 3 days a week.

- Monday to Friday
- 05:00am start
- Minimum of 10 hours paid
Responsibilities of the driver
- Be comfortable driving around the RG and SP postcodes
- Operate a Class 2 vehicle from Thatcham to various locations.
- Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.)
- Report any safety issues on standard reports.
- Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.
- Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Requirements of the class 2 driver
- Valid Class 2 Licence
- Valid CPC and Digi-Tacho
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- No LTD
