We are currently looking for an experienced Laser Setter / Operator to join our production team in Redditch. With position becoming permanent following a successful trial period. This role is ideal for someone with previous laser cutting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

**Experience on a Amada cutting machine is essential**

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate an Amada CO₂ F1 laser cutting machine
• Work with 3000mm x 1500mm sheet material
• Operate and monitor the automated sheet loading system
• Load and unload materials safely
• Check parts for quality and accuracy against engineering drawings
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards

Desirable Skills

• Experience with automated sheet loading systems
• Knowledge of laser programming or nesting software

Shift:

• Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1530
• Friday 0700 - 1330

Pay:

• £14.50 per hour
