Our client, an industry leader with over 35 years of experience in mechanical handling and robot system integrator in the automotive, aerospace, nuclear and pharmaceutical sectors, is looking for a Laser operator / setter to join their team. This is a great opportunity to secure a permanent contract after a successful trial period.
Experience required / Duties:
- Experience in using a 4m x 2m laser cutter
- Bodor Thinker 3.0 Software or similar experience
- Press Brake and Guillotine experience
- Must be able to read technical drawings
- The ability to prioritise tasks and adopt a flexible approach to working methods
- Experience of operating an overhead crane an advantage
- Valid Counterbalance forklift truck licence an advantage
- Housekeeping - Keeping the work area clean and tidy
- Ideally possessing Experience 2 years
- The ability to work within a team environment
- Experience of material handling of finished parts for safe transport to welding and other departments
- Additional workshop/manufacturing duties as required
- Specific training can be provided
Pay rate:
- £14.00 - £17.00 per hour DOE
Shift pattern:
- 07:30 - 16.30 Monday - Friday
