We are recruiting for a recycling operative to work with our client based in the Yapton area. This is a very active and hands on position that's available on a full time and ongoing basis. A suitable candidate has the opportunity to progress into a permanent contract.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be happy to work outdoors all year round.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Sorting construction site waste (not general household waste)
• Assisting with unloads of site waste materials
• Sorting waste into different material groups
• Removing any dangerous items i.e batteries.

Requirements:

• Comfortable with working outdoors
• Happy with being on your feet for most of the shift
• Able to complete heavy lifting tasks

Pay: £11.44 per hour paid on a weekly basis

Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 42.5 hours per week.
