The Best Connection Chesterfield are looking for a labourer for one of our clients based in the Chesterfield area.

Our client is a small, family-run business based in Chesterfield, and they’re on the lookout for a reliable and motivated Labourer / Installations Assistant to join their team. You’ll play a key part in supporting their experienced crew on a variety of commercial and residential sites across England.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting with the installation of diesel generators, chimney systems, and switchgear
• Pulling and routing cables, installing cable trays, and using hand and power tools
• Measuring, lifting, and supporting the technical team on installations
• Working in a range of environments, often outdoors or on active construction sites

Who We’re Looking For:

• Someone with a can-do attitude, who’s happy working as part of a small, friendly team
• Comfortable working with different people and in changing environments
• Punctual, practical, and adaptable – you’ll often be the right hand of our lead installers
• Previous hands-on or site experience is a bonus, but attitude and willingness to learn count most
• Must have electrical experience

Working Hours:

• Standard workshop hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Some early starts (6am) and late finishes (after 6pm) due to travel – flexibility is key
• Travel and variety are part of the job – no two days are ever the same
• May be the occasional stay away however this is rare.

• £13.00 per hour
• Weekly pay!
• 28 days annual leave (based on accrual)
