We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer / Banksman to join a busy client of ours in Bethersden for a Waste Removal Project. This is a key role where you will support the smooth running of waste removal operations on-site while ensuring safety and efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be assisting with the safe handling, removal, and transportation of waste materials, along with managing vehicle movements and site access.

You must have your own transport due to the location of this position.

Working hours: 07:00- 18:00

Pay: £12.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general labouring tasks such as loading, unloading, and sorting waste materials.
• Safely direct vehicle movements and manage traffic on-site as a Banksman.
• Ensure all site operations comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the worksite.
• Work closely with the team to ensure that project deadlines are met.
• Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery, if required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a general labouring role, preferably within waste removal or construction.
• Valid Banksman qualification (or willingness to undergo training).
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive and reliable attitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of work.
