The Best Connection are recruiting for a Labelling Technical Supervisor for our client in Preston. This is a newly created role, based in a brand-new facility where new systems are currently being implemented, within a leading company in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

You will be integral to maintaining high standards of quality assurance within our organisation.
Responsible for preparing and completing the labelling production records, emphasising a right-first-time operation.
Responsible for ensuring that all startup and shutdown and hygiene records are completed accurately.
Responsible for setting up weighing equipment and metal detectors for each run.
Ensure that the product is being produced safely and to specifications as per customer and legislation.
Ensure the packing area is clean and hygienic, and maintains the standard at all times, in accordance with food legislation.
Ensure that all staff, contractors and visitors comply with the company’s hygiene standards.
Encourage good communication throughout the production area, with a positive attitude and work ethic.

Regular Tasks:

Setting up and completing digital labelling production records
Completing startup and shutdown, and hygiene records
Setting and running metal detector and check weigher equipment
Ensuring the number of products packed on system, matches the physical number of cases despatched.

Location is not on Bus route, so candidate must be able to commute

Monday - Friday

Hours are between 6am - 4pm
