The Best Connection are recruiting Catering/Kitchen Assistants (Night Shift) to work in a canteen on site with one of our prestigious clients. The company operate a distribution centre and have a canteen on site to provide meals to their workers. These are temporary ongoing positions to start in Jan 2025.

The role:

• Prepare dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety
• Follow procedures and complete meals to menu specification
• Carry out all aspects of food preparation and service
• Housekeeping duties involving cleaning of kitchen and dining room
• Ensure cleaning schedules, duties and procedures adhered to

The candidate:

• Food Hygiene Level 1 Certificate
• Previous kitchen assistant, or catering assistant, experience preferred
• Able to work night shifts
• Flexible on availability - including weekends

Hours of work:

• 22:00pm to 06:00am
• Client operates canteen service to workers 7 days per week - candidates must be able to work 5 out of 7
• 40 hour working week

Pay rates:

• £12.40 per hour to £15.90 per hour
• 10pm to 11pm & 5am to 6pm = £12.40 per hour
• 11pm to 5am = £15.90 per hour
