The Best Connection is recruiting for Junior Design Technician for our Wolverhampton based client.

Immediate start available on a permanent basis. 

Annual salary of £23,200 starting salary with career progression available.

Working hours: Monday to Friday-37.5 hour week. Hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm

Duties and skills expected of role:

• Train to use Revit and MWF Shop drawings
• Train to use design software specific to the machines used in the factory.
• Train to produce manufacturing shop drawings, material schedules, issue sheets, printing drawings, uploading and downloading drawings, ensuring incoming and outgoing drawings are stored in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure workload is produced in a timely manner. If there are concerns about deadlines early warnings should be raised with your line manager so extra resources may be used to achieve the deadline.
• Be able to work under pressure in a logical manner and with a high degree of accuracy.
• Work as part of a team and communicate well. Be open and honest, and report any issues and concerns with your line manager or Directors.
• Train to take off quantities

Must have Excel and CAD experience and good attention to detail.
