Inventory Controller / Stock Controller

Location: Liverpool City Centre

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 15:00

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour

Overtime: £20.63 per hour after 37.5 hours worked per week

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Inventory Controller / Stock Controller to join a busy warehouse operation based in Liverpool City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with warehouse and stock control experience looking for a stable Monday to Friday position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage goods-in processes and ensure stock is received accurately.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Conduct regular stock counts and support stock take activities.
• Process and maintain inventory documentation, including temperature logs.
• Report stock shortages, damages and excess stock promptly.
• Follow customer-specific procedures and warehouse operating processes.
• Work closely with warehouse and operational teams to support customer requirements.
• Update stock movements and inventory records using warehouse systems.
• Ensure all duties are completed in line with Health & Safety procedures.
• Identify operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse and inventory control experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and administration skills.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is desirable.
• Confident using Microsoft Teams and other computer-based systems.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
