The Best Connection is looking for an Installation Planner for our client in Normanton. This is a temporary, ongoing position. Expected to last until Christmas or just beyond.

Experience in a similar role is essential and a good understanding of UK geography is a must.

What you will do

• Support the installation team by planning and tracking installations
• Be involved in the procurement of equipment in an effective manner to meet customer requirements
• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of the project to the client ensuring project milestones and deadlines are achieved
• Liaise with customers and contractors to ensure a smooth install
• Deliver exceptional customer service and be professional at all times
• Effectively communicate and build strong relationships with customers, installation engineers and managers
• Effectively negotiate with suppliers and coordinate the delivery of material and equipment
• Prepare programmes and schedules
• Coordinate the manpower planning of a team of engineers
• Produce fast and accurate information for engineers and customers
• Monitor the progress of installations to ensure they are working to schedule and minimise downtime
• Ensure all installation information is available, complete and up to date
• Assist with the scheduling of sub-contractors
• Investigate and resolve issues

• £12.35 / hour

• 37.5 hrs (8-4pm / 9-5pm alternating shifts every week)
