The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Industrial Cleaners / Labourers to work on the Coal & Coke Side at British Steel, Scunthorpe.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team working regular daytime hours with excellent overtime opportunities.

🕒 Shift Pattern

✅ Monday to Friday

✅ 08:00 - 16:00

💷 Pay Rates

✅ £12.71 per hour (First 12 weeks)

✅ £13.09 per hour (After 12 weeks)

⏰ Overtime Rates

✅ Weekday Overtime: £16.52 per hour

✅ Weekend Overtime: £19.07 per hour

🔧 Roles & Responsibilities

As an Industrial Cleaner/Labourer, your duties will include:

✅ Industrial cleaning of plant, machinery, walkways and work areas

✅ Shovelling and removal of coal, coke and process waste

✅ General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment

✅ Cleaning spillages and removing debris from operational areas

✅ Assisting site teams with general labouring duties

✅ Operating industrial cleaning equipment and tools

✅ Supporting maintenance activities when required

✅ Adhering to all health & safety procedures and site regulations

✅ Candidate Requirements

✔ Reliable and hardworking

✔ Able to work in a heavy industrial environment

✔ Physically fit and capable of manual labour

✔ Previous industrial cleaning, labouring or manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential

✔ Strong commitment to health and safety
