Job Title: HSE Coordinator

Location: Wolverhampton (Multi-site - West Midlands)

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Hours: 39 hours per week

• Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
• Contract: Permanent

The Role

Reporting directly to the HSE Manager, you will support day-to-day Health, Safety and Environmental activities across two manufacturing sites. This is a proactive, operational role requiring a hands-on approach to maintaining compliance, managing risk and promoting a positive safety culture.

You will act as the on-site HSE representative, ensuring safety standards are maintained and UK legislative requirements are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the on-site HSE representative across both sites
• Conducting routine safety inspections and workplace audits
• Monitoring housekeeping standards and safe systems of work
• Supporting supervisors to resolve safety issues efficiently
• Creating, reviewing and maintaining the risk assessment register
• Ensuring HSE documentation is up to date and legally compliant
• Recording and investigating accidents, incidents and near misses
• Carrying out root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Maintaining accident statistics and trend analysis
• Supporting new starter inductions
• Coordinating refresher training (FLT, First Aid, Fire Marshals etc.)
• Promoting a positive safety culture
• Supporting safety committee meetings

What We're Looking For

NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards)

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment

Experience conducting risk assessments

Excellent communication skills

Full UK driving licence
