The Best Connection are seeking an experienced HR Administrator/ HR Advisor with two years’ experience preferred in a H.R roll who is ready for a fast-paced challenge for a forward-thinking initiative company.
The salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience. The role is to ensure that the site is compliant and meet UK employment law.
To effectively see all employees through the HR recruitment cycle, onboarding and induction programmes and other recruitment needs. This role is heavily involved within on-site training, therefore a candidate with a passion for training and development would be adventurous.
You will provide information and clerical support to the employees regarding human resources activities, policies, processes and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules and regulations.
- Assist in the payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leavers etc.) and handle complaints and grievance procedures.
- Manage the on-site training matrix with training and support in the development and maintenance of the online training system.
- Provide a site HR update to the Senior HR Manager and complete the HR KPI tracker for site on a weekly basis.
- Assist with general HR matters including drafting, reviewing, implementing and developing relevant policies and procedures when required.
- Providing advice in relation to employee performance, conduct and absence management.
- Preparation and taking part in disciplinary procedures from investigation through to hearings.
- Managing and maintaining contracts, personnel files and other employee information.
- Coordinating and administering training and development programmes and liaising with external training bodies as required.
- Ensure that the site is always operated to the highest safety and BRC and UK compliance standards.
- Provide high quality, responsive and professional advice to both managers and employees on all aspects of human resources management.
- Maintaining a high level of awareness and understanding around changes to employment legislation and case law and ensuring that employment practices are always compliant.
- Be prepared to undertake any necessary Health & Safety and Environmental training, as is requested by the company.
- Be pro-active in contacting managers who have employees with poor attendance/performance and assist with appropriate actions.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies Overseeing the recruitment of temporary staff within the Business to ensure that staff requirements are met in a cost-effective manner

Benefits:
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year depending on experience.
