What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

· Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on HGV vehicles

· Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

· Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with DVSA standards.

· Undertake repairs including brakes, clutches, engines, gearboxes, and suspension.

· Complete job sheets and maintenance records accurately.

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

(Please note: your role may not be limited to these tasks)

What you'll need

Requirements:

· Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician.

· NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) preferred.

· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

· Good understanding of health & safety procedures.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential).
