Our St Albans based client manages the distribution and collection of heavy goods in the UK and are looking to strengthen its delivery team, starting asap. They require LGV Cat C (HGV Class 2) Drivers immediately. Assessment and induction will be carried out before starting the job. Minimum HGV driving experience required is 6 months. Must be physically fit due to heavy lifting. Potential permanent role to be offered after the successful trial. 

Main duties will include:

• Managing the delivery process from site to customer
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• Delivery to homes and companies
• Carrying loads up to 200kg - single manned or double manned

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday - start time varies from 05am to 07am
• Guaranteed 8 hours pay

Hourly pay Rates:

• Pay rate Monday to Friday is £14.60 per hour PAYE / £17.80 per hour Umbrella
• Pay rate Monday to Friday after 8 hours is £16.19 per hour / £19.81 per hour Umbrella 
• Pay rate Saturday if worked is £16.19 per hour / £19.81 per hour Umbrella
