The Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Washington, who are a large and well-established haulage company.

Due to planned growth and commitment, they are looking for several LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) drivers available for ADHOC work. Primarily looking to cover weekend shifts. Ideal for those looking to increase their weekly wage and optimise driving hours.

The start times do vary pending destination however, this tends to be between 10pm and 2am starts.

In this role you will be doing:

• A to B trunking
• Trailer swaps
• Pre-loaded vehicles & pre-planned routes
• Strapping the load
• No handball involved

The candidate:

• Full, Class CE UK Driving Licence
• CPC Driver Qualification Card
• Digi-Card Required
• 2 year driving experience due to insurances

This is offered on a PAYE basis, at the following rates:

• Monday to Friday £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
• Saturday £17.00 per hour (PAYE)
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
