The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers for our client based in Stoke on Trent.  The work is ongoing and could potentially lead to permanent.  Working for a busy builders merchants the role will include:

- Delivering a variety of products to residential addresses

- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

- Perform commercial driving duties in a safe and efficient manner

- Assist with loading and unloading goods, involving heavy lifting and a HIAB crane (training and a licence can be provided)

- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided

Qualifications

- HGV Class 2 licence

- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card

- Hiab / Mounted Crane experience 

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous

- Proficient in heavy lifting techniques

Job Details

Shifts are between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday mornings, 7:00am to 1:00 pm. We are closed all Bank Holiday Mondays. This is a manual job, you must be prepared to work outside in all weathers.
