HGV CLASS 1 NIGHT DRIVER

We are looking for an experienced HGV 1 Driver for our client based in Nursling

You will be required to drive a Class 1 vehicle doing night trunking departing from the Nursling depot.

Pay Rate is £16.50 (PAYE) and £20.00 (Umbrella) with a 10hr minimum

THE DUTIES AS A CLASS 1 DRIVER:

• Driving a curtain sider or double decker Trunking up to the midlands / north and back
• Performing all relevant vehicle checks before and after setting off
• Reporting any issues to the office whilst on your route, e.g. vehicle issues
• No handball involved and No multi drop
• Working Monday to Friday night

YOUR REQUIREMENTS AS A CLASS 1 DRIVER:

• Previous experience with Class 1 driving
• Held your license for 2+ years
• Max 6 points (NO DD/DR/IN)
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients / customers
• Flexible start time
• A good level of written and verbal communication would be required due to the paperwork involved.
