The Best Connection are currently looking for a Class 1 driver in Purfleet for work with immediate starts in Essex & Southeast Corner! 

• Paid PAYE 

• Monday – Friday  

• Day & Night shifts available 

This is a great role, with a well-established client, delivering timber. Due to the work with live loads, experience with strapping is beneficial. The work is hands on, so we are looking for someone with a good working attitude, and desire to excel in the role.  

What does the job involve? 

• In this role you will be delivering and picking up live loads of timber and driving to stores. 

• Roughly 5 – 6 Drops per day. Minimal London driving. 

• It is mostly day shifts, however there are also night shifts available, which will mostly consist of trailer swaps. 

The ideal person for this role will have the following: 

• Multi drop experience 

• Experience with strapping and managing a live load is required for this role 

• Some customer service & general communication skills 

Requirements 

• Current and Valid CE Class 1 License 

• CPC 

• Digi Card 

Pay 

The pay rate is £18 per hour Monday to Friday. Paid weekly pay every Friday PAYE.
