The Best Connection are recruiting for a tractor hedge cutting operative to work around the Preston area.

Job involves: 

Using a tractor-mounted hedge cutter to trim hedges on industrial estates. The job may also include other tractor-mounted tasks, such as mowing and flailing. 

Responsibilities 

• Using tractor-mounted equipment to cut hedges
• Maintaining hedges
• Using other tractor-mounted equipment, such as for mowing and flailing
• Working with flammable liquids, such as petrol, diesel, and oils
• Following health and safety practices

Skills and qualifications 

• Good communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Knowledge of tractor driving
• Ability to deal with difficult situations
• Willingness to work overtime
• A full and valid Driving licence

Qualifications 

A City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in the use of tractor-mounted hedge and verge cutters is preferred but not essential
