Class 2 Driver Required

The Best Connection are currently seeking a Class 2 driver to fill a position in the NG2 area. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 2 Licence with CPC and DIGI card and must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience. The role is initially for cover with the potential of more shifts and overtime is offered after 8 hours daily.

The position is for a well established retail DIY store. You will be based out of the Nottingham site delivering products to customers. You will have a drivers mate with you to assist you with your deliveries.

Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver

• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
• Multidrop
• Customer facing
• Ensuring goods are safely secured
• Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs
• Completing delivery paperwork

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday - £14.75 an hour
• Overtime after 8 hours - £22.12 an hour
• Saturdays - £22.12
• Sundays and Bank Holidays - £29.50

Requirements of the Class 2 Driver

• A valid full category C licence
• Must have a current LGV C licence with Drivers CPC and Digi card
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Work well with others as part of a team
• Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
• No more than 6 points on your licence
