The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with their client in Gateshead. Our client is one of the UK's largest general haulage businesses and are looking to expand their team of Class 1 Drivers.
The role:
- Multi-drop of general haulage throughout the North East
- Speedy, efficient and accurate delivery to customers at set times
- This is a customer facing role, so you must be friendly and professional as you will be representing both the Client and The Best Connection
The candidate:
- Must have a clean (C+E) UK driving licence
- Must have two years of commercial driving experience in a Class 1 vehicle
- Smart appearance and positive attitude as this role is customer facing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hours of work:
- Start times can vary, but the client operates from Monday to Friday
- Shifts are offered on an ad hoc basis, but there is plenty of work available for suitable candidates
Pay Rates:
- £14.25 per hour (PAYE) - flat rate all hours
