The Best Connection are working with a prestige client based in Driffield and we are currently seeking a Class 1 HGV Tanker Driver to fill a position.
The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 1 HGV Licence and must have HGV Class 1 tanker experience and will involve early starts and this role can involve some manual handling.
This role may require nights out as and when required.
Must have 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE AND NO DD.DR.IN10 CONVICTIONS
Responsibilities of the Class 1 HGV Driver
- perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
- Will involve discharge and tank filling of slurry training given to the right candidate
- Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with client and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner
- Must be competent in tanker work discharge and slurry of product the driver must be willing to work manually and adherence to required standards for the product to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures. this is not just a driving role the hands on aptitude must apply
Requirements of the Class 1 HGV Driver
- Class 1 Driver (HGV)
- Class 1 driver experience
- Must have a clean licence no DD ,DR ,in10
- Verifiable references
Compensation of the Class 1 HGV Driver
The starting salary for this position is up to £15.00 hourly, with n/out also with the option for overtime at weekend
