The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Aviation Client who are looking to add ANOTHER 4 X Class 2 Drivers to their driving team working with their logistics teams to complete deliveries within Edinburgh Airport.

This role is Ongoing work through the busy seasons:

Basic duties will include:

• Delivering goods in a secure & controlled environment
• Loading materials onto vehicle
• Loading and unloading catering goods to aircraft
• Liaison with flight crew
• Working in collaboration with ground handling team
• General vehicle checks and upkeep of vehicle.
• This can be a physically demanding job so candidate must have a good level of fitness.
• Must complete clients paperwork to a good standard

Requirements:

• Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with 1 years experience
• Max 3 points with no major endorsements
• Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Documented and referenceable 5 year work history 
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
• Excellent communication skills
• Airport Airside Driving experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided

Rates of pay and Shifts:

• Pay = £16.02ph 
• Rota is a 3 on 3 off rota
• Shifts are 06:00 to 18:00 or 10:00 to 22:00
• 12 Hour Shifts
