The Best Connection are seeking to recruit 2 x HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers to work with our client in Darlington. Our client manufactures high quality kitchens and the role involes completing deliveries to customers homes.
These are temp to perm positions.
The role:
- You will be required to deliver flat pack kitchens to customers homes.
- This will involve heavy lifting but you will have a drivers mate to assist.
- This is a customer facing role, so you must be friendly and professional as you will be representing both the client and The Best Connection
The candidate:
- Full, clean LGV C (HGV Class 2) licence
- Ideally minimum of 1 year LGV C driving experience
- Smart appearance with positive attitude to cistomer care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hours of work:
- Standard working week Monday to Friday.
- Shift start time varies - an earliest start of 04.00am (could be 04.30am or 05.00am etc)
Pay Rates:
- £14.09 per hour (PAYE) for first 10 hours worked per day
- £19.50 per hour after 10 hours worked per day
