The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with their client in Newton Aycliffe. Our client is logistics and transportation company based in the UK, specializing in providing a range of supply chain solutions. They have a requirement for a evening drivers to support them on an ad hoc basis with ongoing work available.
The role:
- Requires driving HGV up to 44t MAM, usually articulated but also free-standing trailers.
- Deliver large goods/packages to various destinations.
- Complete pre and post op inspection of vehicle.
- You may also be required to load and unload goods/products into your vehicle.
The candidate:
- Valid and in date HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence, CPC & Digi Card
- Minimum age 21
- Maxiumum points 6
- 2 years commercial driving experience.
Hours of work:
- Start time is 17:00pm
- Wednesday to Saturday
Pay Rates
- Evening Shift: £16.00 per hour (PAYE) - flat rate all hours
- Saturday Shift: £18.00 per hour (PAYE) - flat rate all hours
