The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 flatbed driver for their client based in the Swanley area.

You will be responsible for the delivery of large stone products business to business. Most of the time the products will be offloaded for you but you will be required to help as well. You will also be required to help load the vehicle with help from the yard staff, you will need to secure your load safely with the use of strapping on top of the vehicle. Deliveries do not normally go into London, but they can on the occasion. If your day finished earlier, you will be required to finish up things in the yard, such as some minor tidying and helping the rest of the team where needed.

The client is looking for a driver for the long term and they are looking for the right fit to their diverse, hard working team. Preferably the driver would have at least a years worth of experience driving a Class 2 vehicle and has experience with heavy goods delivery. You will be facing the client's customers, so an element of customer facing skills will be required.

Pay rate for the role is £15ph and this is a Monday to Friday role. Your days will be starting at 6am. This is an ongoing position with the chance of a full time role with a close knit company.

• Pre and post vehicle checks
• Assistance of loading and unloading of heavy products 
• Previous Class 2 delivery driving
• Customer facing
• Handballing
• Max of 3 points on licence, no DD/DR endorsements
