The Best Connection are working closely with one of the UKs leading courier providers, and currently require multiple HGV drivers to join their busy Crawley operation. This is an excellent opportunity together kickstart a new career or further your driving experience. 

We have shifts available on both day and night shifts 09:00-1800 / 11:00-19:00 / 01:00-09:00. Shifts required will be 5 days out of 7 in line with your tachograph rules, flexibility is key to this role to help meet busy demands. These are ongoing positions with permanent positions available at the end of a qualifying period. 

The pay is broken down into the following depending on your licence type:
Cat C / Class 2 - Days £14.27 Nights £14.79
Cat CE / Class 1 - Days & Nights £14.60 
 

Duties of HGV Driver 

• Check and asses vehicle prior to each shift. 
• Carry out deliveries of parcels and boxes to local depots and sorting facilities.
• Collections of parcels and boxes to bring back to main hub. 

Requirements of HGV Driver 

• HGV Class 1 / Cat CE or Class 2 / Cat C licence 
•  DIGI Tacho card and CPC
• 3 year referencable work history 
• Newly Qualified Drivers are welcome
