Our client, located in Coventry, is seeking multiple Class 1 drivers for early morning shifts. Successful candidates will be responsible for store deliveries, transporting pallets, and distributing stock nationwide.
Key details:
- Shift lengths: Average of 10-12 hours.
- Pay: £17 per hour (PAYE) for AM shifts. Early starts before 0600 are paid at £20 per hour.
- Start times: Typically between 0200 and 0300.
- Assessment & induction: Fully paid upon successful completion.
- Schedule: Alternating weekly shifts: Week 1 (Monday-Friday), Week 2 (Tuesday-Saturday), with a £50 bonus for Saturday shifts. This is an ongoing role with potential for Temp-to-Perm (T2P).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required.
- Duties: There will be handball - pallet delivery using a pump truck or cage work.
- Additional details: 1-2 nights out may be needed throughout the week, with a night-out allowance of £31.36.
- Drop frequency: 2-4 drops per run.
